Why we built it
Random chat is fun, but "hi" followed by awkward silence isn't. It's so much easier to talk when you already share something, whether that's cricket, a band, or the same exam you're stressing about. So we built chatrealm.live around interests. You add up to 5, and we match you with someone who picked the same thing. If nobody's around, we'll pair you with anyone, unless you'd rather wait.
Made for India
chatrealm.live is only for people in India, so the person you meet is from here too. We follow Indian law, and we have a Grievance Officer you can reach at [email protected]. We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and resolve them within 15 days. Want to chat in Tamil, Hindi, Marathi or any other language? Add it as an interest and we'll match you with someone who picked it too.
How we think about safety and privacy
We collect as little as we can. You chat as a made-up name with a cartoon face, and chats go straight between the two devices without being saved. We only see a chat when someone reports it. It's 18+ only, contact details are hidden automatically, and rule breakers are banned on both their account and device. There are no ads.
