How video chat works
Add up to 5 interests, like cricket, anime or Tamil, and we'll look for someone who picked the same thing. If nobody matches after a short wait, we'll pair you with anyone, unless you turn that off. The first time you use video, you sign in with a 6-digit code we email you. No password to remember. It's there so that when someone gets banned, the ban actually sticks. Tap Next whenever you want to meet someone else.
Camera and mic tips
When your browser asks to use your camera and microphone, tap Allow. If you said no by mistake, you can change it in your browser's site settings. Sit facing a window or a lamp so your face isn't a dark shadow. Headphones stop that annoying echo for both of you. A steady connection helps too, so move closer to your Wi-Fi if the picture keeps freezing. And check what's behind you before you start, so you're not showing anything you'd rather keep private.
Staying safe on video
You show up with a made-up name and a cartoon face, not your real name or profile. Your video goes straight between the two devices and we don't save it. Still, the other person could take a screenshot, so don't show anything you wouldn't want shared. If someone breaks the rules, tap Report. We'll get their recent messages and one picture from the chat so we can check. Then tap Next and you won't be matched with them again.
