Terms of use

Last updated 17 September 2026

These terms are a binding agreement between you and the operator of chatrealm.live. Read them before you chat. If you don't agree with them, don't use chatrealm.live.

Agreeing to these terms

You accept these terms, the privacy policy and the community rules when you confirm your age, and each time you start a chat. You confirm that you are legally able to enter into this agreement. We record that you accepted, and when.

Who can use chatrealm.live

You must be 18 or older. chatrealm.live is offered only in India, and you must be in India when you use it. You must not use chatrealm.live if you are banned from it, or if any law or court order bars you from using a service like this. By using chatrealm.live you declare that all of this is true. If it isn't, you are using chatrealm.live without permission.

What chatrealm.live is, and what it isn't

chatrealm.live is an intermediary under the Information Technology Act, 2000. It matches two people and helps their devices connect. Messages, video and voice then travel directly between those two devices.

We don't start, select, change, record, read or watch your chats, and we don't check them before or while they happen. We don't verify anyone's identity or age beyond what is described here. chatrealm.live is not a dating service, a counselling service or an emergency service.

You are responsible for what you do

Everything you say, show or send on chatrealm.live is yours alone, and you are fully responsible for it, legally and otherwise. You promise to follow these terms, the community rules and every law that applies to you.

What you must not do

  • Show or send nudity, pornography or any obscene or sexual content. It is against Indian law and against our rules, even between adults.
  • Share, ask for, or describe anything sexual or harmful involving a person under 18. We report it to the authorities.
  • Harass, threaten, bully, stalk or defame anyone, or attack people for their gender, religion, caste, race, ethnicity, disability or sexuality.
  • Invade anyone's privacy, or record, screenshot or share a stranger without their clear permission.
  • Share anything that belongs to someone else and that you have no right to share, or that infringes a patent, trademark, copyright or other right.
  • Impersonate another person, deceive people about who a message comes from, or knowingly spread false or misleading information.
  • Spam, advertise, sell, run scams, or promote gambling or money laundering.
  • Share anything that threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with other countries, or public order, or that incites any offence.
  • Send viruses or any code meant to damage, interrupt or take over a device or a service.
  • Lie about being 18, or try to get around a ban, a block or the India-only limit.
  • Break any law in force.

Reports, and your consent to them

Anyone you chat with can report you, and you can report them. You agree that a report sends us what the reporter saw: the recent messages in that chat and, in a video chat, one still image of your video. You agree that we may keep it, review it, and hand it to law enforcement where the law requires or allows it.

Making a report you know to be false is itself a breach of these terms.

What we may do

We may suspend or ban an account, a device or a network address, end a chat, or refuse service, at our discretion and without notice when we think it is needed to protect people or to follow the law. We may act on a single report, especially one about a child's safety.

We cooperate with lawful requests from courts, police and government agencies, and we keep the records that Indian law requires us to keep, for as long as it requires.

Bans and appeals

If we suspend or ban you, we tell you the reason and how long it lasts. If you think we got it wrong, write to the appeal address on the contact page. We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and decide them within 15 days. Our decision after an appeal is final as far as chatrealm.live is concerned.

Accounts

Text chat works without an account. Video chat needs you to sign in. Keep access to your email safe, because anyone who can read it can sign in as you. You can delete your account at any time from the account page. After deletion we keep a minimal record for 180 days, because Indian law requires it.

You use chatrealm.live at your own risk

The people you meet are strangers. We can't check who they are, how old they are, or what they will say or show, and we can't stop them recording you. Because chats are direct, the other person's device can see your IP address. Don't share your full name, address, phone number, passwords, photos of documents, or money. Leave any chat that feels wrong, and report it. You accept these risks when you use chatrealm.live.

No warranties

chatrealm.live is provided as it is and as available. To the fullest extent the law allows, we give no warranty of any kind, whether about availability, safety, accuracy, the conduct of other users, or fitness for any purpose.

Limit of our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for anything other users say, show or do, on chatrealm.live or after it, or for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or loss of data, reputation or profit. Our total liability to you for everything connected with chatrealm.live is limited to ₹1,000. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

You cover our losses if you break these terms

If someone brings a claim against chatrealm.live, its operator or its team because of what you said, showed or did on chatrealm.live, or because you broke these terms or the law, you agree to indemnify us: to pay the resulting losses, damages and reasonable legal costs.

Our name and material

The chatrealm.live name, design, text and software belong to the operator of chatrealm.live. You may use chatrealm.live for personal, non-commercial chatting only. You may not copy it, scrape it, automate it, or build a service on top of it.

Changes and ending

We may change these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we ask you to accept the new version before you chat again. We may change, suspend or stop chatrealm.live, or stop offering it to you, at any time and without liability.

Law, courts and the small print

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of India with jurisdiction over the place where the operator of chatrealm.live is established have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.

If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a term right away, we haven't given it up. These terms, the privacy policy and the community rules are the whole agreement between you and us. We may transfer this agreement to a successor of chatrealm.live. You may not transfer it.
