Not for text chat. You only confirm you're 18 or older and accept the terms before your first chat. Video chat needs a quick sign-in with a code sent to your email.

So bans stick. You sign in with a 6-digit code we email you, with no password, and people who break the rules can't simply come back.

You add up to 5 interests and we match you with someone who picked the same thing. It's always 1:1, and you can tap Next to meet someone else.

After a short wait, we'll pair you with anyone who's around. If you'd rather only meet people with a shared interest, you can turn that off.

No, there's no gender filter right now. Your interests are the only way to shape who you meet.

Yes. chatrealm.live checks your location and only works for people in India. Matching is across all of India.

Yes. Add your language as an interest, like Hindi, Tamil or Bengali, and we'll match you with someone who picked the same.

No. Chats go straight between the two devices and aren't saved, and we can't see them. If someone reports you, the recent messages and one picture from a video chat reach us for review.

Only roughly. Because the chat connects your two devices directly, their device can tell roughly which city you're in from your IP address. It doesn't show your exact address.

Phone numbers, email addresses, links and social media handles are hidden automatically. This keeps out spam and scams and helps you stay anonymous.

Tap the Report button, which is in every chat. Then tap Next to move on, and you won't be matched with that person again.

We review their recent messages and, for video, one picture from the chat. A report that someone is under 18, or of sexual content involving a minor, suspends them straight away until we review it. Three reports from different people in a day do the same.

Bans apply to both the account and the device. If you think you were banned by mistake, email [email protected]. We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and resolve them within 15 days.
